Makes you think

Why is that it takes dramatic events to make you stop and analyze your life? Imagine the power and purpose everyone would live with if they consciously thought about every decision and action they made.

After the passing of my friend, Nathan Junker, it has left me really wondering what my legacy would be if I wasn’t here tomorrow.  There is no question that Nathan’s legacy is great and the impact that he left on those around was wide spread.  I can safely say that my life is better because I knew him.

I only hope that in my efforts live a better life, I’ll as Ghandi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”  And hopefully those that I leave behind, especially my kids, they’ll know that I was trying my best.  Afterall, that’s all you can really ask for.

Angie said what?

Today when Liv got in the car from daycare, she said, “Angie told us we needed to stop screaming bloody mermaid.”   I said, “Angie said to stop doing what?”  “You know mom, screaming Bloody Mermaid.” “Do you mean Bloody Murder.”  “No, mom it’s pretty gross to see a bloody mermaid and we should stop screaming like we saw one.” Right.
